Now that cigarette smoking is considered gauche (Yay!!!) it is really weird to see someone so completely self-involved with it. I see old women in their cars puffing away and I'm completely amazed. They're completely unfazed.
I agree! We chatted with this woman for a bit and you are right, she didn't seem at all embarrassed that she was smoking like that. But, then, I see a lot of young kids doing it too and they think it makes them look cool. :-P

d.c.: Thanks! I'm not sure what I think about her smoking around her dogs, but it is certainly a good shot of someone being themselves.
Or is that themself? Something like that! My brain has been hurting all day so I'm not firing on all cylinders.
