Splendid. that was the perfect time to take the trip.
I love your colors - they look so real (my new Rebel SLR camera, or the operator, does not do reds well.)
The ocotillo photos are esp. lovely since it's tough to capture the leggy plant so well.

I really came to love the ocotillos when we visited Arizona in March. It's amazing what beautiful blooms all these desert plants have.

Tash: Yes, my camera does quite nicely, and if it doesn't, I punch it up in Lightroom. I'm loving this new software!

Linda: They are great plants aren't they? There is nothing like them!

Oh the cactus are beautiful and the poppies gorgous. I was always afraid of Ocatillo because of their thorn throwing ability. I've never seen it, but I guess the Disney movie, The Living Desert did the job.

Cele: I didn't know they could throw thorns! Guess I'll have to watch that movie!

cactus flowers are so beautiful, the contrast is what makes them so beautiful I think.. Nice work Maya, as usual.

Sherry: Thanks! I never thought about it, but you are probably right.

I'm always so amazed by the desert and the beautiful variety of flora it generates. Really quite breathtaking.
