Ahhh, Italia!

Today for lunch we ate at Al Boccalino in Pioneer Square. I was not impressed with my dish at all as it had bits of shell in the pasta. Not my preferred way to get calcium! My co-workers, however, enjoyed their meals, so I may give it another chance. The atmosphere was quite romantic, so it might be a good date place.

Seen on the wall of the restaurant.

Seen walking home from work.

I work next to Al Boccalino and I've been curious about it but heard it was pricey. I went to De Nunzios instead and it was excellent, if you haven't tried that yet I'd recommend it. As an added bonus they set my dessert drink on fire (on purpose) so there was even a sort of show.

Oh, thanks for the tip! I haven't eaten there. I'll have to try it. We must work very close to each other!

I work in the Polson building. Just started there a few months ago. It's such a great location -- especially since I've discovered Cow Chip Cookies.

At De Nunzios the server took our menus away and improvised a delicious meal. I wrote about it towards the end of this entry, if you're interested.

That was quite an entry! The meal experince looked quite fun. I think I've been there, but it's been awhile. I don't think that place is ever busy. I wonder why?
