Yep. Those "Alamo flowers" were probably right across the street from the "Alamo Drugstore" and down the block from the "Alamo Gas N' Go"...within easy walking distance of the "Alamo Super Mall." :)
B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! I want some photography lessons from you. Not only on the composition but on the exposure - the colors are so real and the flowers and the greenery is all of right exposure.
Tash: Composition I can teach (I think), but the rest is my fantastic camera! I haven't been able to touch up any of my photos from the trip due to lack of Photoshop, so what you see is what came out of the camera for the most part!
First off, let me say, you're a fabulous photographer regardless of which camera you use. But these photos are pure evidence of what happens when you combine outstanding talent with good equipment. These flower photos are stunning! Mine looked like crap in comparison.

I'm a sucker for flowers, cacti in bloom are incredible, but the delphiniums and snap dragons rocked too.
