Nothing But Blue Skies...

You don't see much in Southwest style in these parts, but this strange apartment building on Capitol Hill has a Southwest facade!

I watched these two birds for quite awhile hoping I'd catch one in flight, but animals don't much like to co-operate.

Southwestern mission bell inthe northwest is a bit interesting. LOL. animals never cooperate. Actually, they do. They cooperate when a camera is not around.

friar: Yes, it's just odd to see them here!

dusty: You are so right. They will talk with you, pose for you, be all cute, and the minute you pull out the camera, they stop!

Nothing like an uncooperative bird. I mean, geez, don't they know they're suppose to fly?! Honestly.

That southwestern facade and bell is a little odd looking, isn't it? I love southwestern style, though, and really miss that architectural style out here where everything is so Colonial and Federalist.

I'd like to see some of that Colonial and Federalist stuff! I grew up in the Southwest, so it's not as intriguing to me. I do get a bit nostalgic, however, when I see things like this.
