We stopped at Devil's Punchbowl State Park in Otter Rock to visit my friend Dani who works there. We had a wonderful lunch with her in Newport before continuing up the coast. The squirrels seem to love this area!
Oh, mi gawd, Ducky is going to be so jealous, she got a grey digger to eat out of her hand. I can't wait to show him these pictures. Wow. Isn't the Oregon Coast beautiful?
Cele: I've always loved the coast along the Pacific. Beautiful! I didn't know what kind of squirrel he was. The guy at the winery has pretty much tamed him (not sure if this is a good idea or not). He is certainly getting fed well!
Jared cracked me up, the way he stuffed his cheeks with almonds, ran off to store them, and shamelessly came back for more. I wonder if he's still eating that cache of nuts?
Charming squirrel. I thought from the title it might be a drunk squirrl, but it appears the only the name of the park is alcoholic and the fauna is quite sober.
